With the rapid growth of the number of new energy vehicles, the power battery safety accident has become one of the key bottlenecks restricting the rapid development of new energy vehicles, and it also seriously threatens the personal safety of the occupants.

Under the strong support of the national key research and development plan "new energy vehicle" special "electric vehicle infrastructure operation safety and interconnection technology" project, the project research team of Guodian NARI Technology Co., Ltd. proposed a multi-time scale lithium ion battery. The charging safety hazard warning method establishes an interactive response mechanism for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure and integrated monitoring platform. The breakthrough of key technologies will greatly improve the safety and reliability of power battery applications.
The project carried out the thermal runaway mechanism under the condition of power battery overcharge and the performance attenuation mechanism under different stresses, and established a relatively complete power battery safety characteristic parameter characterization system;
Comprehensively utilizing real-time and historical operational data of vehicles, applying data mining technology to analyze the coupling characteristics of power battery characteristic parameters and safety hazards, and establishing a monitoring method for safe operation of power battery system;
Based on the characteristic parameters of the capacity increment curve, a power battery health state diagnosis method based on support vector machine is established, which realizes the identification of the power battery degradation mode.
Aiming at the problem of safety hazard caused by sudden change of high-energy power battery capacity, the development of capacity-accelerated recession recognition and early warning technology based on quantile regression is combined with battery health assessment, accelerated recession identification and real-time operation of battery to form a multi-time scale. Power battery safety risk assessment and early warning methods effectively improve the safety and reliability of power battery use.
